Do you think they fire Doc? Is it his fault his team bricked multiple dunks and had a star player bounce a 3 off from the side of the backboard? Personally I think it’s time for this team to change it s home city and name. They could go to something like ... the  Seattle Supersonics as a fresh start.

Yes, they should fire Doc. They need a new voice. They blew big leads in games 5 & 6. They have no draft picks and no cap space to get the players they have. And those players choked.

Also the only city they should go back to is San Diego. The organization started in Buffalo in 1970, so there is too much history that would have to be thrown out. On top of that, when the former Supersonics left for OKC, Seattle kept all the history. I think Seattle, and the NBA, would prefer a new team to inherit the history. Plus, Steve Ballmer already has billions invested in building a stadium in I ngle wood almost next to the new SoFi Stadium.

Then again, weirder things have happened before so who knows.

The Sonics thing was (mostly) in jest as, in addition to what you said, Ballmer has said that they’re  there for life. I don’t pay that much attention to the NBA since we don’t have a team up here so I’ll take your word on Doc’s future. It’s usually the coach that goes in these situations.

As a Celtics fan I want to thank Doc Rivers for two things. 1. Not screwing up the 2008 NBA Championship. 2. Choking last night so everyone wouldn’t be talking about what an amazing block by Bam (even though it was ) .

I love Doc as a person but he is not a good coach. Tom Tibado and James Posey were the reason Celtics won the 2008 Championship (and Andrew Bynum was hurt). Let Doc go and promote Lue before he leaves for Houston.
